Kaylin Edwards, a sophomore at Long Beach Wilson High in California, won the Division 1 girls 300-meter hurdles title in 42.52 seconds at the CIF Southern Section finals at Moorpark High. Edwards also contributed to victories for the Bruins in the 4x100-meter relay in 46.16 seconds and the 4x400-meter relay in 3:43.82, as well as placing second in the 100-meter hurdles in a wind-legal 14.31 seconds, helping the Bruins win the Division 1 team title with 74 points.
